Professor Omolara Campbell is a distinguished Professor of Development Economics with an impressive career spanning over three decades in tertiary education. Her extensive experience encompasses teaching, research, educational administration, and management.
Professor Campbell’s research interests are primarily centered on the critical areas of Human Capital Development, Structural Transformation, Sustainable Development and Gender related Issues. She has made significant contributions to these fields through her numerous publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Her work is widely recognised and respected within the academic community.
In addition to her publications, Professor Campbell actively participates in both local and international academic forums. She has presented her well-researched papers at numerous conferences and workshops, where her insights have been highly commended. She also plays a vital role in the academic community as a reviewer of articles for several local and international peer-reviewed journals.
Professor Campbell is an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Nigerian Economic Society, the American Economic Association, and the Canadian Economic Association. These affiliations demonstrate her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field and engaging with the broader community of economists.
She is also the convener of Babatunde George Campbell Foundation, whose mission statement is to enrich humanity by strengthening and empowering indigent students at the secondary and higher education levels.
Beyond her professional achievements, Professor Campbell is a family-oriented person. She is happily married and blessed with wonderful children and adorable grandchildren.
Prof. Godwin Oyedokun is a distinguished scholar-practitioner with over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience in law, forensic accounting, taxation, financial development and public policy analysis. Currently a Professor of Accounting and Financial Development, he is widely respected for his contributions to academia and industry.
Prof. Oyedokun was the Chief Executive Officer at OGE Professional Services Ltd, the company which is recognized for its expertise in accounting, tax advisory, and forensic auditors. Throughout his career, he has held several key roles, including Partner, Audit & Forensic Services at Ibrahim Jimoh & Co. Chartered Accountants, and Director of Tax, Forensic & Regulatory Services at Saffron Professional Services.
He has also held leadership positions such as Audit Manager at Gbolahan Oyegoke & Co. (Chartered Accountants) and Accounts Manager (Head of Accounts) at Bond Chemical Industries Ltd, where he also served as Financial Accountant and Cost & Management Accountant. In addition, he was a Senior Analyst (Resident Control & Risk Officer) at XL Management Services Ltd.
Earlier in his career, Prof. Oyedokun worked (for his industrial attachment) at the Bursary Department of the University of Ibadan, where he gained experience in the Correspondence, Assets & Insurance, and Payroll sections.
In academia, Prof. Oyedokun has held adjunct positions at various prestigious universities, both in Nigeria and internationally. His extensive academic experience complements his practical knowledge, making him a highly sought-after educator and consultant in the fields of forensic accounting, financial development, and taxation.
He has also played significant roles at the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), where he led the Education, Research & Technical Directorate as well as the Finance & ICT Directorate. As an author, public policy analyst, and international speaker, Prof. Oyedokun continues to share his expertise across various platforms, influencing both policy and practice in the financial world.
Prof. Godwin is a Governing Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria (BRIPAN). He is a Past Chairman of ICAN Ilupeju/Gbagada & District Society. He is the Board Chairman of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE Southwest Nigeria Chapter) and Global President of the Association of Forensic Accounting Researchers. He is happily married with children.
Segun Olugbenga Adedeji (Ph.D) is a Professor and teaches Economics of Education and Education Planning and Policy in the Department of Educational Management, University of Ibadan, where he served as Ag. Head from 2009 to 2011. He was a MacArthur Fellow at the UNESCO Centre for Comparative Education Research, University of Nottingham from 2004 – 2005. He was a visiting scholar and Director, Quality assurance at Kampala International University, Kampala, Uganda from 2007 – 2008. He was a Fellow of Africa Higher Education Collaborative (AHEC), organized by the Institute of International Education (IIE) with funding from the Ford Foundation (2008 – 2011). He was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Educational Management, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife from 2016 – 2017.
He is the current Head, Department of Business, Entrepreneurship and Executive Education, University of Ibadan School of Business. He has considerable experience in the analysis of education cost and finance in developing countries.
He has worked and interacted with senior-level technocrats and policy makers in higher education across the world on projects sponsored by the World Bank; UNESCO Institute of Statistics (UIS); UNESCO/IIEP, Paris; UNESCO/IICBA, Addis Ababa; Partnership for Higher Education in Africa (PHEA); Institute of International Education, USA; British Council UK, Templeton Foundation, USA; inter alia. He delivered the 533rd University of Ibadan Inaugural Lecture on the 12th of October, 2023. Professor Segun Adedeji is married and blessed with lovely children.
Okuwa Oluwakemi Bolaji is a Research Professor of Labour and Education Economics at the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) in Ibadan, Nigeria. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Economics from Ogun State University Ago–Iwoye and her Master’s and Doctorate in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She has over twenty-eight years of research experience in Development and Labour Economics, Education Policy and Finance. She is the head of the Human Capital Policy Department and the coordinator of specialized training programs at NISER.
She was an alternate Board Member of the Financial Institutions Training Center (FITC) and a Research Committee Board member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN); She has consulted widely as an Education and Labour Economist for the State and Federal governments as well as International Organizations, especially the World Bank, African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), UNDP, ILO country office, DFID/Creative Associate, Action Aid International (Nigeria office), Comic-Relief UK/Universalia, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Nigeria and Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC)/IDRC. Okuwa has worked for the World Bank, USAID and Comic Relief UK on Global Partnership for Education, Education sector analysis and assessment, Transforming Education for Girls in Nigeria and Tanzania, Kano State Education Account project and Oyo State Agricultural Transformation Policy Framework.
She has served as a member of the Technical Working Group of some of Nigeria’s policy documents – Vision 2010, Vision 20:2020, Medium Term National Development Plan 2021-2025, as well as sector plans of some State governments. She served as a labour Economist expert during the preparation and validation workshop on labour statistics and LMIS organised by the ILO (county office), GIZ, and NUC. She was a Visiting Research Scholar at the International Monetary Fund Washington D.C., GDN Research Observer and Research Fellow at the Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy. She is a life member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), Association for the Advancement of African Women Economist (AAAWE), African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), and Global Development Network (GDN). She has over 50 publications in several highly referred national and international journals.
Grace Oloukoi is a Professor of Urban Planning and Environmental Planning at Lead City University in Nigeria. Her core academic training is in the disciplines of Geography, Urban and Regional Planning. She has extensive experience in research, academic and leadership roles.
Her research focus includes Water Affairs within Environmental Systems, Climate Extremes and Environmental Governance, Urban Planning and GESI (Gender, Equity and Social Inclusion) Analysis. In her passion for capacity building and pedagogy in environmental sciences, she developed four Tailor-made postgraduate programmes, including Built Environment, Environmental Governance and Sustainable Development, Land Administration and Development, and Environmental Management.
Her scientific works have gained international recognition, including research grants and scholarships in her areas of expertise. She is presently one of the Co-Principal Investigators in one of the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) projects funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) with the title: ‘A Pan-African and Trans-disciplinary Lens on the Margins: Tackling the Risks of Extreme Events (PALM-TREEs). She is a Registered Town Planner, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP), a Fellow of, the African Climate Change Fellowship Programme and a Research Fellow with the Earth System Governance, Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
Dr. Esther Aderinto is a distinguished academic, researcher, and entrepreneurship development expert committed to nurturing innovation and enterprise among students and young professionals. She holds a Ph.D. in Energy Economics from the University of Ibadan and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Lead City University, Ibadan, with over 13 years of teaching and research experience.
As the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Dr. Aderinto leads the university’s efforts in promoting entrepreneurial education, fostering industry-academia collaboration, and supporting the incubation of student-led startups. Under her leadership, the Centre has implemented impactful initiatives such as entrepreneurial training programmes, business incubation schemes, and startup financing opportunities—empowering students to transform their ideas into sustainable ventures.
Dr. Aderinto has mentored numerous student entrepreneurs, equipping them with practical knowledge, strategic insight, and the tools to navigate today’s dynamic business landscape. Her work ensures students receive constructive feedback, real-world exposure, and support in developing investor-ready business models.
She is a respected member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), the Nigerian Association for Energy Economics (NAEE), and the Global Women’s Network for Energy Transition (GWNET). She has presented scholarly papers at numerous local and international conferences, published extensively in reputable journals, and authored two books.
Oluwatoyin A. Bolukale holds a PhD degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) and a Registered Town Planner.
Her key areas of interest are environmental planning, waste management, urban planning, blue economy, and tourism.
She currently works at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Lead City University, Ibadan.
Dr. Oluwatosin Olusola Adesina is a distinguished Lecturer at Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, within the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Department of Economics and Development Studies. With over a decade of experience, he is dedicated to addressing economic, business, and social issues while mentoring the next generation of data-driven thinkers. His research focuses on macroeconomics, International Monetary and Development Economics, with a particular interest in Sustainability Economics, including the Green, Blue, Circular, and Digital economies.
Dr. Adesina holds a BSc. (Hons) in Economics from Babcock University, an MSc and MPhil in Economics from Covenant University and Obafemi Awolowo University, respectively, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is also an Associate Chartered Accountant (ICAN). Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, he is skilled in data analysis using tools such as Office Excel, SPSS, EViews, and STATA, and is expanding his proficiency in Python, R, Julia, and Power BI.
Since joining Lead City University in 2020, Dr. Adesina has been actively involved in teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is a key member of various university committees and a member of the National Association for Business Economics. Additionally, he is the managing consultant at Transcontinental Analitika Consult and had held board positions in various organizations, demonstrating his leadership in both academic and professional realms. Dr. Adesina advocates for collaborations between academia and industry to drive research and problem-solving initiatives.
Taliat Olayinka Emiola, born on 24th August 1971 had his first degree in Economics/Education from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1999. He worked as a teacher in both private and public secondary schools in Oyo state between year 2000 and 2016.He proceeded for his Master’s Degree programme in Economics in 2009 and completed the programme in 2012. He joined Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria in 2016 as a lecturer in the department of Economics and he is in the University till date. He bagged his Ph.D Degree in Economics from the same Obafemi Awolowo University in 2023.
Dr. Emiola has 15 publications in both local and international journals to his credit and his research interest areas include Monetary Economics, International Economics, Development Economics and Econometric analysis. He has attended many conferences both local and international where he presented conference papers. He is an Associate Member of Nigerian Economic Society (NES).
Dr. Omoseni Oyindamola Adepoju is an Associate Professor of Management specialising in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship at Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria. She has over 15 years of combined academic and professional experience, integrating management principles with human resource development, construction management, and innovation. Holding a PhD in Management Science focused on Human Capacity Development, a Master’s in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, she brings extensive expertise in strategic talent management, employee development, workforce reskilling, and Industry 4.0 challenges.
Dr Adepoju is recognised for her prolific research contributions, with over 50 publications addressing emerging HR practices, employee well-being, digital transformation, and green human resource management. She is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and the Academy of Management (TAMN). Her involvement in curriculum development, postgraduate supervision, and training facilitation underscores her commitment to advancing human resource management in academic and practical contexts.
Dr Adepoju has facilitated numerous training programs covering themes such as the role of HR in project management, youth empowerment, time management and teamwork, workforce rebranding, the impact of automation on teamwork, workplace proficiency enhancement, corporate ethics, and navigating complex work environments with emotional and intellectual intelligence. These programs reflect her focus on developing practical HR skills, adapting workforce capabilities to technological advancements, promoting professionalism, and meeting future skill demands.
